Oakland Raiders: Full first-round 2019 NFL mock draft 3.0
By Sanjit T.
26. Indianapolis Colts Jerry Tillery, DT, Notre Dame
Heading into the offseason, the Colts are in the best shape of any team in the NFL. They have some very young All Pros, and a ton of cap space. Oh yeah, they also have this guy named Andrew Luck. Although they can get him a new weapon here, I think they should go a different direction.
With their first pick this April, the Colts should bolster their defensive line. Jerry Tillery showed during his time at Notre Dame that he can be downright dominant. Tillery is ranked as the third-best pass-rushing interior defensive linemen by Pro Football Focus, and it shows on tape. His hand usage is probably the best I’ve seen on tape this year.
27. Oakland Raiders (from DAL) Josh Jacobs, RB, Alabama
The Raiders have signed two backs, Jalen Richard and Isaiah Crowell. They also have Chris Warren III, a promising young back. However, none of those backs are Josh Jacobs. Jacobs is the best running back coming out this year. He is a huge threat out of the backfield, and general managers have made the comparison to Le’Veon Bell. He’s only run the ball 300 times while at Alabama, which is actually beneficial for Oakland.
28. Los Angeles Chargers Dwayne Haskins, QB, Ohio State
The Chargers are one of the best teams in the NFL. They are in a Super Bowl or bust mode right now. The only player the Chargers should really look for is their next quarterback. Fill in the quarterback that most had as their No. 1 quarterback before the end of the NFL season, Dwayne Haskins, and the Chargers have their successor to Philip Rivers.
29. Kansas City Chiefs Garrett Bradbury, C, NC State
The Chiefs splashed with the signing of Tyrann Mathieu, one of the best safeties in the NFL, but also lost there center, who signed a big contract with the Buffalo Bills. Fill in Garrett Bradbury, the best center coming out of college, and the Chiefs will be perfectly fine, as they continue to add around star quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
