Cody Ford, G/OT, Oklahoma

Mel Kiper Jr. believes Cody Ford won’t be selected until the 37th pick. If that’s the case, he will be available for the Raiders at pick 35, and this would be a huge steal. Ranked as a top 5 offensive tackle in this draft class, Ford is a mauler, and he could be the player for the Raiders at LG.

With the signing of Trent Brown, it makes sense that Kolton Miller plays right tackle, with Brown protecting Derek Carr‘s blindside.

With that being said, Brandon Parker will have the opportunity to win the left guard job. Of course, the Raiders will have to decide between Brandon Parker and Ford. However, if they want a top tier offensive linemen playing left guard, they should take Cody Ford, a player who has only given up two sacks in his career.
