The Raiders signed six defensive players this offseason, and none have been at the defensive end spot. Pass rushing is a huge need for the Raiders, as they struggled heavily last year at getting to the quarterback.

With the 4th overall pick in this years draft, the Raiders will select Kentucky outside linebacker, Josh Allen.

Allen had 17 sacks, 12 quarterback hits, and 28 quarterback hurries, which ranks him as the No. 1 pass rusher in college football coming off the edge. When you consider Allen dropped into coverage almost 22% of the time, one might think of what could have happened if he pass rushed more often.

Nick Bosa dropped back into coverage only 3% of the time, while Montez Sweat dropped back only 5.5% of the time. But somehow, Josh Allen still had more sacks than both of those guys combined. The Raiders pass rush will be improved tremendously with Josh Allen, and this pick is a no brainer.
