Jared Cook has moved on and signed with the New Orleans Saints, so it’s time the Oakland Raiders spent a high pick on a tight end. A position that’s often overlooked, a tight end typically has enormous impacts on every phase of the offense.

Whether that’s run blocking, pass blocking, or pass catching, Fant has what it takes to be a star in this league. Oakland does have some nice supplementary tight ends on the roster, but Fant would be an absolute weapon for this Raiders offense moving forward.

Noah Fant has been projected a first round pick in most mock drafts, and is mainly regarded as the second-best tight end in this draft class after teammate T.J. Hockenson. Last season, he was ranked sixth in yards per route run at 2.15 yards.
