Another legendary Raider, Fred Biletnikoff comes in just outside the top-10 on this list. Selected in the second round of the 1965 AFL Draft, Biletnikoff is one of the best players in franchise history. However, to say Biletnikoff was selected in the second round is a bit misleading, as there were only eight teams in the AFL in 1965.

Technically, Biletnikoff was selected No. 11 overall by the Raiders after being selected in the third round of the NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions. He decided to sign with Oakland over Detroit and well, the rest is history.

Most fans know how it played out. For those who don’t, Biletnikoff set multiple franchise records. His bronze bust resides comfortably in Canton, Ohio as a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Prior to being passed by the great Tim Brown in both, Biletnikoff held the franchise record for receiving yards with 8,974 and touchdowns with 76. He also sits in seventh all-time in scoring for the Raiders with 462 points attributed to him.

A legend? Easily. A draft steal? Probably. Any team would have been lucky to have a star like Biletnikoff on their roster, yet only the Raiders can make that claim. He only played for the Raiders in his AFL/NFL career, spending 14 seasons with the team.

One Super Bowl ring, one Super Bowl MVP, and four Pro Bowls to his name, Biletnikoff is one of the greatest Raiders of all-time. He is easily considered to be one of their best draft picks.
