Denver Broncos – Week 1

The Raiders don’t have very many homes games their first eight weeks of the season, but they do have an opening matchup against the hated Denver Broncos on Monday night football.

With this officially being the last season in Oakland, fans in the bay area will be in full force for every home game especially the opening night. The energy and desire to see the 2019 season ended on a high note will fuel the Raiders and give them a great chance of starting the season 1-0.

The Raiders were in a similar situation last season against the Rams on opening night, but it was clear who the better team was. The Broncos have a few things to work out with new quarterback Joe Flacco running the offense and being on the road is not ideal. You can expect their defense to be top notch with Vic Fangio now running things, but the unknown of what their offense will look like greatly benefits the Raiders.

So combine that with the energy that will be coursing through the Coliseum and this matchup favors Oakland.
