The 2019 NFL Draft will kick off on Thursday night, and here is the complete list of Oakland Raiders draft picks heading into the first round.

The Oakland Raiders hold more first round picks than other team in the NFL this Thursday night, as the NFL kicks off the 2019 NFL Draft. Oakland will get their party started early in round one, picking at No. 4 overall, before selecting twice later in the round.

Of course, in order to get so much draft capital, the Raiders had to give up a lot, and that includes star edge rusher Khalil Mack, and versatile wideout Amari Cooper. For Mack, Oakland got back two first rounders, including Chicago’s first pick in 2020, as Cooper netted them the No. 27 overall pick in 2019.

As we inch closer to Thursday night, it is always good to take a look at where the Raiders will be picking throughout the three-day event. On Thursday,  they pick three times, but on Friday, which encompasses rounds 2 and 3, they have only one selection.

While the draft order could change at any moment, as we saw Tuesday when the Kansas City Chiefs traded their first rounder for Frank Clark, here is how it stands today.

Total Draft Picks

The Raiders have eight picks in the 2019 NFL Draft:

Round 1 (No. 4 overall)
Round 1 (No. 24 overall)
Round 1 (No. 27 overall)
Round 2 (No. 35 overall)
Round 4 (No. 106 overall)
Round 5 (No. 140 overall)
Round 7 (No. 218 overall)
Round 7 (No. 235 overall)

New general manager Mike Mayock has said that he would like to get more Day 2 picks, so one of their first round selections could be moved around. I believe they will hang on to the No. 4 overall pick, however, adding a quality defensive player, as they look to complete revamp this roster this offseason.

Next. Raiders should target Ed Oliver at No. 4 overall. dark

Mayock has done a great job bringing in talent this offseason, and this is a Raiders team  that will be much better than the four-win squad from a year ago. Head coach Jon Gruden is the final decision maker when it comes to the roster, so the draft could get interesting, but the hope is the Raiders come out of it a more complete team.
