The 2019 NFL Draft brought tons of trades and excitements in the first round on Thursday night, and the Oakland Raiders got quite the draft haul.

The 2019 NFL Draft is finally here, and on Thursday night, the Oakland Raiders will head into the first round with three first round picks. The Arizona Cardinals were officially on the clock, and all of the talk in recent weeks has circled around them adding Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray.

They did just that, selecting the Heisman Trophy winner first overall.

Oakland opened up their night by picking at No. 4 overall, selecting Clemson edge rusher Clelin Ferrell. It was quite a surprising pick, but Ferrell does fit the Raiders 4-3 scheme, and comes to the Silver and Black after winning two national titles for the Tigers.

Holding two other first rounders, the Raiders continued to add players of need, selecting Alabama running back Josh Jacobs at No. 24, and Mississippi State safety Johnathan Abram at No. 27. Both players were considered the best at their position group in this draft class.
