With the 2019 NFL Draft in the rearview mirror, the Oakland Raiders will start to add pieces as undrafted free agents, and here is the list as they sign.
The Oakland Raiders added nine quality players to their roster over the three-day 2019 NFL Draft, including shoring up a major issue on the edge. Of their nine selections, Oakland added three defensive ends, including their first pick at No. 4 overall, Clemson’s Clelin Ferrell.
Joining Ferrell at the position group were Maxx Crosby from Eastern Michigan, as well as Quinton Bell, their final pick of the draft. These guys join a group headlined by 2018 third rounder Arden Key, giving the Raiders solid depth heading into next season.
Overall, general manager Mike Mayock and head coach Jon Gruden addressed a lot of issues with the roster during the draft, but there is still a lot of work to do. Luckily for the Raiders, Gruden can get on the horn with some undrafted players right after the draft ends, and he is usually good at persuading players to become Raiders.
As the undrafted guys sign, we will update our tracker below.
Here is the list of UDFAs for the Oakland Raiders:
- Alex Ingold, FB, Wisconsin
- Lester Cotton, OG, Alabama
- Dylan Mabin, CB, Fordham
- Andre James, OT, UCLA
- Tevon Coney, LB, Notre Dame
- Keelan Doss, WR, UC Davis
- Koa Farmer, LB, Penn State
- Keisean Nixon, CB, South Carolina
- Ronald Ollie, DT, Nicholls State
- Lukayus McNeil, OL, Louisville
- Tyler Roemer, OT, San Diego State
- Cannon Smith, TE, Clemson
After a successful 2019 NFL Draft, the combination of Mike Mayock and Jon Gruden definitely have their sights set on bringing in some quality undrafted rookie free agents. This is a Raiders team on the rise, and they seem to have the right two men steering the ship for the first time in a long time.
