K- Daniel Carlson, P- Johnny Townsend, LS- Andrew DePaola

The Raiders specialists will have competition this summer, as all three will have guys in camp that will be fighting for their jobs. The one player whose job is much safer than the others is Daniel Carlson, who came to the Raiders during the 2018 season, and became nearly automatic from his kicker position.

Rookie Johnny Townsend struggled mightily as a rookie punter for the Raiders last season, and the team is going to push him this offseason. Heck, even Marquette King wants another shot at wearing the Silver and Black, so who knows what will happen at this position moving forward.

Long snapper Andrew DePaola was injured for the season in Week 1 last year, and rookie Trent Sieg stepped in nicely at the position. Sieg also could give the Raiders some offensive line depth, so if DePaola, who the Raiders made the  highest-paid long snapper last season, is not healthy, they have depth behind him.

So there it is, the first crack at the Raiders 53-man roster. Of course, things change all the time, as we originally had Isaiah Crowell making the team, and now he is out for the season. We will update these each month as we inch closer to the preseason, but one thing is for sure, this roster has much more depth than it did a year ago.
