Kolton Miller

With their first round pick in 2018, the Raiders made a surprising selection, adding UCLA left tackle Kolton Miller with the No. 15 overall pick. However, the pick was not a reach within the organization, as they really liked Miller, and they showed that when they inserted him as the starting left tackle as a rookie.

In his rookie season, Miller was beaten often, but that was mostly due to the fact that he was battling injuries for much of the year. Earlier in the 2019 offseason, the Raiders brought in New England Patriots left tackle Trent Brown to bolster the offensive tackle position, though he will move to the right side with the Silver and Black.

Miller is going to have the chance to hang on to the left tackle spot in 2019, but that is certainly going to be something to keep an eye on this summer. When healthy, he has shown that he can be a left tackle at the NFL level, and with Brown in the mix on the other side, the tackle spot is definitely improved over last year.
