The Oakland Raiders will lean heavily on their 2018 NFL Draft class in 2019, after a rookie season that saw them get a ton of playing time.

The 2018 NFL Draft was Jon Gruden’s first in his second stint as the head coach for the Oakland Raiders, and to say it was a wacky draft would be an understatement. Both Gruden and former general manager Reggie McKenzie had their own, separate draft boards, leading to anarchy over the entire three-day event.

Though the draft class came together in an odd way, the duo of McKenzie and Gruden actually brought in some solid players during the 2018 NFL Draft, including some guys who will be building blocks on this roster moving forward. As they head into Year No. 2, it will be crucial that they continue to move in the right direction.

Of course, the Raiders added some elite talent during the 2019 NFL Draft, as they held three first round picks. Guys like Clelin Ferrell, Josh Jacobs, and Johnathan Abram will all be starters in Year No. 1, adding to a core of young Raiders who will be the building blocks of this franchise moving forward.

Here is a quick look back at the Raiders 2018 NFL Draft class.
