The Oakland Raiders will kick off their 2019 NFL regular season against a familiar foe, as they take on the Denver Broncos in Week 1 on Monday night.

Like the Oakland Raiders, the Denver Broncos are going to look a lot different this upcoming season, as they will have a new man under center. Before the league year even started, the Broncos had agreed to a deal with the Baltimore Ravens for quarterback Joe Flacco, who won a Super Bowl as the Ravens signal-caller.

In addition to a new quarterback, the Broncos will also have a new head coach, as Vic Fangio replaces Vance Joseph as the main man on the sidelines. Fangio is fresh off leading the Chicago Bears defense to a first-place finish in the NFC North, and brings with him a wealth of experience coaching at the NFL level.

When do the Raiders play the Broncos

The Raiders will kick off the 2019 season against the Broncos, as they play host to them on Monday Night Football to finish up Week 1. In addition, Oakland will finish off their season against the Broncos.

Both teams will be looking to rebound from a terrible 2018 season, as the Raiders won only four games, and the Broncos only six. The last time the Raiders took on the Broncos, they beat them at home in what was then thought of as the final regular season game inside the Oakland Coliseum.
