The Oakland Raiders travel east this season for an AFC matchup with the New York Jets in what will be a reunion for more than a few familiar faces on both sides.

Back when the 2019 NFL regular season schedule was announced, the Oakland Raiders were dealt an unfair hand in their presumably final season in Oakland. Aside from being on the road for the entire month of October, the Raiders will again make an annual trip out east.

This year, Oakland will prepare to face the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium on November 24th.

The Raiders and Jets both finished with a 4-12 record last season, placing each team in the last place within their respective divisions. Looking to take a significant step in the right direction, Oakland and New York both selected within the top five in the NFL Draft as well as made splashes during free agency.

With a reloaded roster and a new head coach, here is our opponent preview for the New York Jets.
