Nothing is going to come easy for the Oakland Raiders in 2019, and we’re breaking down their schedule in terms of toughness.

The Oakland Raiders have done a lot of offseason work to turn around this roster, and things certainly look to be on the right track for the silver and black. Unfortunately, they once again find themselves with the toughest schedule in the league.

Playing in the AFC West is always going to lead to a high schedule difficulty, but being paired with the AFC South and NFC North this season takes it to a whole different level. The Raiders will play seven games against 2018 playoff teams (Chiefs 2x, Chargers 2x, Colts, Texans, Bears) which is the most in the NFL for 2019. They will also be facing some of the best quarterbacks in the league so the defense will undoubtedly be put to the test.

So let’s look at how each portion of the schedule breaks down.
