Good chance to win, but no Guarantee

Week 10: vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Week 14: vs. Tennessee Titans

Week 15: vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Week 17: @ Denver Broncos

It might seem crazy to think the Raiders should beat the Chargers, but the context of this week 10 matchup is essential. First off, it is a Thursday night game, so even with the short travel, the advantage will be in Oakland’s favor as the home team. Then add on the fact that the Chargers will be facing the Packers the Sunday before, and you could have a team that is a bit tired from a hard-fought game. The Raiders found themselves in a similar situation last year when they were blown out by the San Franciso 49ers last season on Thursday night after a tough game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Weeks 14 & 15 features two AFC South opponents that the Raiders should be able to match up with and since both games are at home, they have that advantage. Both the Jaguars and Titans look poised to have strong defenses and uncertain offenses, which is a hard recipe for winning on the road.

The last game of the season against the Broncos is not even close to a gimme especially when you consider how Derek Carr and company have performed in cold weather games. However, when comparing it to the games on the rest of the list, this is one of the better chances at a win.
