Week 1: vs. Denver Broncos

Week 9: vs. Detriot Lions

Week 11: vs.Cincinnati Bengals

Week 12: @ New York Jets

It is critical that the Raiders win their opening game against Denver because the schedule gets crazy for the next six weeks. Joe Flacco will be starting his first game as the Broncos’ quarterback, and there is real uncertainty as to how their offense will look under him. This is a perfect opportunity for the Raiders defense to gain some momentum as they are going to be facing some elite quarterbacks in 2019. It will also be a good test for this new look offense as the Broncos will have a strong defense again under new head coach Vic Fangio.

When it comes to the Lions, Bengals, and Jets, these are three teams that the Raiders are more talented than so they will need to take care of business. Slip-ups against these teams could prove to be devastating.
