Ranking the Oakland Raiders regular season games in 2019
Tough to Predict a Win
Week 2: vs. Kansas City Chiefs
Week 4: @ Indianapolis Colts
Week 7: @ Green Bay Packers
Week 13: @Kansas City Chiefs
The Raiders will face multiple big-time quarterbacks in 2019, but it doesn’t get any more elite than Patrick Mahomes, Andrew Luck, and Aaron Rodgers. That’s three of the top five quarterbacks in the league, and they have great roster behind them. The Raiders are already fully aware of what Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs offense can do as they dropped 40 & 35 points in their meetings last season. It unlikely Mahomes will be able to replicate his unbelievable 2018 season, but there is little reason to think he won’t still be elite in 2019. And at the moment, the Chiefs are still the cream of the crop in the AFC so until something changes the Raiders can’t be favored against them.
Not too far behind the Chiefs at the top of the AFC are the Indianapolis Colts who surged their way to an unexpected playoff berth in 2018. Andrew Luck returned from injury and reminded people that he is still an elite player in the league. There’s no reason to think they won’t be a playoff contender again this season if healthy so the Raiders in a for a tough game on the road.
Lastly, the Raiders travel to Green Bay to face the revamped Packers as Aaron Rodgers will look to reestablish his dominance this upcoming season. Going to Green Bay is tough for any team, but for the Raiders to travel to the east coast and beat Rodgers is a huge challenge.
