Can Tom Cable coach this talented offensive line?

Last season, the Raiders offensive line struggled mightily, whether it was with injury, or with keeping Derek Carr upright. Prior to the 2018 season, Jon Gruden brought back a familiar face in  Tom Cable, who could just never get this position group heading in the right direction.

Entering 2019, there should be no excuses for Cable, who has a very talented starting five along the offensive line. Rodney Hudson is the best center in football, and the addition of Richie Incognito gives the Raiders a stellar tandem at guard. At tackle, Trent Brown is a significant upgrade from Brandon Parker.

One of the biggest questions surrounding this franchise the last two years is if Tom Cable can actually be a successful offensive line coach? He will get another chance to start the 2019 season, but if the offensive line struggles the way they did last season, and are healthy, he will likely be shown the door.
