Derek Carr and Jon Gruden’s relationship

If you are a Raiders Fan, you know this is a non-story. However, HBO might want to tell the full story of the team’s coach and quarterback relationship. Are these two built to last together?

Everyone knows prior to the draft, 95% of NFL draft analyst aka journalists were predicting Jon Gruden to draft a quarterback and cut ties with Carr. In fact, they had the team trading a ton of draft capital just to move up to No. 1 to get a guy like Kyler Murray. Heck, they even had them trading up to No. 2 to get Drew Lock.

Of course, that didn’t happen. So now HBO might choose to tell the story of how their relationship really is like. I’d be interested to see if HBO spins this in a positive or negative way. Both men have engaging personalities, so this should be fun to watch.
