Rodney Hudson

The Raiders stole Rodney Hudson away from the Kansas City Chiefs prior to the 2015 NFL season, and he has been the best center in the NFL ever since. A two-time Pro Bowler since putting on the Silver and Black, Hudson was snubbed from making it three in a row last season, as he was once again the most consistent offensive lineman on this roster.

For Derek Carr to be able to utilize all of his new weapons in 2019, the Raiders have to be better up front, and will need to continue to be as they make their way to Las Vegas in 2020. There is no reason that Hudson should be allowed to even test the free agent waters, as he is still only going into his age-30 season, and has a ton of good football left in him.

The Raiders have to get a better job out of their offensive line this season, and while others have struggled, Hudson has been the constant to do his job on an elite level every week. He is the anchor of this Raiders offensive line, and getting him under contract has to be priority No. 1 for this franchise heading into 2020.
