Tyrell Williams

As the new WR2, Tyrell Williams needs to step up now more than ever. Tyrell Williams was solid in Los Angeles, but has not progressed since his breakout year in 2016. Williams has had less yards every year since 2016, and has scored five or less touchdowns in his last two seasons.

If this offense is going to explode, Tyrell Williams will have to step up big time, and have another season like he did in 2016. Williams will receive the same benefits that JuJu Smith-Schuster did playing alongside Antonio Brown, and if he does not take advantage of that, the offense won’t meet its potential.

Williams will play against some of the best defensive backs in the NFL next season, as the Raiders face off with the Chargers two times, the Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings, Jacksonville Jaguars, and many other teams with solid pass defenses.

Williams will have to be at his best going into next season, as he is making $44 million on a four year deal. The Raiders expect more out of Williams than he has produced in the last two seasons, and his improvement will be crucial to the success of the offense.
