There is less than three weeks before the Oakland Raiders rookies report to training camp, and we look at 5 things to watch for this summer.

As the NFL season gets closer, one thing NFL fans always look forward to is training camp. We get to see our team back on the field, and even though it is far from the real thing, it is still entertaining to watch the position battles and scrimmages.

Let’s take a look at five things to watch at the Oakland Raiders training camp.

Kolton Miller and his knee

Before Kolton Miller’s knee injury, he was performing extremely well for a rookie. Once the injury came around, he became one of the worst starting tackles in the entire NFL. We are not sure which version of Miller we will see going into 2019, so training camp will be a good first look for anyone watching.

Miller will be lined up opposite of some of the Raiders young pass rushers, such as Arden Key and Clelin Ferrell. It will be hard to judge Miller off of this, considering we do not know how good Ferrell is, and Arden Key was not great last season, but if Miller struggles against these two, we know that the Raiders may be in trouble.

If Kolton Miller has not fixed his injuries, and does not impress at training camp, Raider Nation may need to worry about not only Miller, but even more Derek Carr. Kolton Miller will have a huge part in how well the Raiders do in 2019, and training camp is our first look at that.
