DeAndre Washington

DeAndre Washington, the Raiders fifth round pick in 2016, saw decreased action as Jalen Richard and Doug Martin garnered a significant amount of carries in 2018. Washington finished the 2018 season with 115 yards on 30 attempts with a 3.8 yard per carry average, and was never truly able to get rolling as a change of pace back.

Washington, who wears the number 33, hasn’t fully lived up to the potential that number comes with for Raiders Running backs (most famously worn by 2X Super Bowl champion, Kenny King). While Washington is an inexpensive option at running back, he will be pushed by 2nd year player Chris Warren III for the final running back roster spot.

Washington should enter the camp ranked higher than Warren based solely on tenure with the team, but i expect this to be a lopsided battle as Washington’s skill set is more closely related to Richard and Martin and with that regard, he could be the odd man out.
