Oakland Raiders could have the most complete WR group in the AFC West

With wholesale changes at the position group, the Oakland Raiders may have put together the most complete wideout group in the division.

The Oakland Raiders finished the 2018 NFL season with Jordy Nelson atop the depth chart at wide reciever, and very little else behind him. Sure, guys like Seth Roberts and Marcell Ateman had their moments, but the organization knew they needed to revamp this position group heading into 2019.

The franchise did just that, adding arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL in Antonio Brown via a trade early in the offseason. After adding Tyrell Williams in free agency, and drafting Clemson star Hunter Renfrow in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Raiders could have the most complete starting trio at the wide receiver position in the AFC West this season.

We all know what Brown can do, as he has six straight seasons of over 1,000 yards, and 100 catches. In Williams, the Raiders will get that deep threat that few other teams can match up against, and Renfrow is a master at making the tough catches over the middle in the slot.

In addition to Williams, the Raiders also brought J.J. Nelson in via free agency, and he is another guy who is outstanding at stretching the field. When it comes to pure talent at the position group, the Raiders could match up against any team in the league in 2019.

The talent on this roster does not stop there, as there are also guys like Ryan Grant and Dwayne Harris who figure to play a role in the offense this season. Harris will once again be the return man for the Silver and Black, while Grant will have to fight for his roster spot this summer.

Renfrow is just a rookie, but he has gotten rave reviews so far since putting on the Silver and Black. With a bolstered offensive line, Carr should have time to throw this season, and he finally has the weapons for what could be his most productive statistical season of his six-year NFL career.
