The Oakland Raiders have some solid young talent on the roster this season, and here are the five best player age 25 and under heading into 2019.

There has been a trend in the media lately that ranks each teams top five players ages 25 and under. The Raiders have a large amount of starters that fit within that age group, so let’s take a look at the five best.

Karl Joseph

At 25 years of age, the former first round pick had a slow start to his career. Joseph was a hard hitting safety coming out of West Virginia, and the Raiders saw a lot of potential in him. When Joseph got to Oakland, he did not initially live up to expectations.

In the 2018-19 season, Joseph finally found his stride. He became one of the best defensive backs on the team, recording 48 tackles, two sacks, and an interception. This was the best season of Joseph’s career, but if he wants to stay with the Raiders next season, he is going to have to compete with Johnathan Abram, and prove that the team needs him around.
