Safety(4): Johnathan Abram, Erik Harris, Karl Joseph, Lamarcus Joyner

If you are not sold on Johnathan Abram, you need to go watch his film. The rookie is going to be special. If Karl Joseph can continue to play like last year, we should be able to get decent secondary play from our safeties.

Although Lamarcus Joyner is listed as a safety, keep in mind that Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock have him slotted as the nickel corner. That said, he was a tremendous player for the Los Angeles Rams last season, and is just another solid defensive back that should help turn around this unit in 2019.

Outside of those four, the Raiders will likely not keep any other safeties, though there is some good young talent they may try and keep for the practice squad. Overall, with the depth at cornerback, and these four safeties, this is a Raiders secondary that should cover well, and also come up and make big hits.
