Oakland Raiders: Top-20 players of the 21st Century

Khalil Mack (2014-2017)
With their first round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the Oakland Raiders selected defensive end Khalil Mack out of the University of Buffalo. A true generational talent, Mack would go on to become one of the top players in all of football, establishing himself as one of those players who do not come around very often.
Unfortunately, Mack’s run with the team lasted only four seasons, as he was traded prior to the 2018 NFL season for draft picks. During his time with the Silver and Black, Mack went to three straight Pro Bowls from 2015 through 2017, and was named the NFL’s Defensive Player of the Year in 2016.
A three-time All-Pro as a member of the Raiders, Mack was a double-digit sack machine, and posted a career-high 15 sacks during the 2015 season. Blessed with an incredible knack for making big plays, Mack is certainly missed, as he currently is the leader of a very good Chicago Bears defense. It may have been short-lived, but it was a special run in Oakland.
