The Oakland Raiders fleeced the Pittsburgh Steelers for wide receiver Antonio Brown, who was voted the best WR in the NFL by his peers on Wednesday.

The Oakland Raiders knew they needed to go out and get themselves some help at the wide receiver this offseason, after finishing the year with an aging Jordy Nelson atop the depth chart at the position in 2018. They did all of that and more, bringing in Antonio Brown, who is fresh off six straight 1,000-yard, and 100 catch seasons.

Brown is much more than just an elite wide receiver, as he has proven to be an elite workout machine, as well as teammate so far. His tenure in Pittsburgh was plagued by bad relationships, and at times, bad decisions, but he seems to have given himself a fresh start with the Raiders.

In addition, he has developed a tremendous relationship with quarterback Derek Carr, as they not only get along on the field, but it seems their kids are becoming friends. The Carr to Brown connection could be a special one in 2019, as they have already seem to have clicked between the white lines as well.

On Wednesday, the NFL Network wrapped up their Top 100 list for the 2019 season, and of course, Brown was listed within the top-10 players. This list is voted on by the NFL’s players, and in Brown, they felt he was the best wide receiver in the game, ranking him as the No. 7 player overall.

As you can see, he was ranked before Green Bay Packers star Aaron Rodgers.

While young stars like Houston Texans’ wideout DeAndre Hopkins, and Atlanta Falcons’ star Julio Jones are both incredible players, Brown is just a cut above them right now. In Oakland, he will join an offense led by an incredible mind in Jon Gruden, who you know will utilize Brown to the best of his abilities this upcoming season.

The 2019 season is a big one for the Raiders, who will be playing their last season inside the Oakland Coliseum, and in the Bay Area. Management has done a nice job improving this roster all offseason long, but in Brown, they have found that elite player that could single-handedly win them some games this season.
