The Oakland Raiders will kick off their 2019 preseason on Saturday, and on Monday, the team released their first unofficial depth chart.

The Oakland Raiders have released their depth chart for the 2019 season, and although it is subject to change, there are multiple things worth talking about. The Raiders start their season this Saturday in a preseason game against the Rams, and the release of the depth chart is another thing hinting towards football being near.

Prior to the Raiders taking on the Los Angeles Rams for the second preseason in a row, they will host the team during the week at their training camp facility in Napa. The Raiders are coming off a four-win season, but based on what this depth chart looks like, they certainly have more talent going into preseason game No. 1.

As we take a look at the depth chart, there are some things that really stand out. In this piece, we will take a look at five observations that were a bit surprising, and while there is a lot of summer left to go, there are players who are already stepping up and cementing their roles on the team.

Here are five observations from the Raiders first unofficial depth chart release.
