Hunter Renfrow listed as the starting slot receiver
Most believed that Hunter Renfrow would be the starting slot receiver for the Raiders, but with how much J.J. Nelson has impressed in training camp, and the experience of Ryan Grant, nobody could be sure. Renfrow has impressed not only the media in training camp, but the players and coaches as well.
Veteran Lamarcus Joyner expressed how impressed he was with the Clemson receiver, and he was not afraid to admit that Renfrow got the better of him one practice. Most believe that Renfrow could be a diamond in the rough for Oakland, and Jon Gruden is happy to have drafted him.
The rookie will be on the field with good company, as he will be between Antonio Brown and Tyrell Williams, and could work as a security blanket for Derek Carr through the season.
