For years, the Raiders had the luxury of having Sebastian Janikowski on their kicker, a player you could write into the Week 1 53-man roster every summer. However, they have had their share of kickers since then, but during the 2018 NFL season, they may have finally found his replacement.

Coming over from Minnesota, Daniel Carlson was lights out for the Raiders last season, and will look to improve upon a great 2018 season. In fact, he did miss a single extra point in the Silver and Black, while connecting on all but one of his field goals.

It is starting to look like AJ Cole is winning the punting battle against Johnny Townsend, as he has gotten the better of him in training camp, and has received great praise from Coach Gruden in press conferences. The battle for the job is not over just yet, but it seems like Cole is starting to pull away with it.
