Oakland Raiders at Arizona Cardinals: Game preview and prediction
By Brad Weiss
The Oakland Raiders will look to move their preseason record to 2-0 tonight, as they take on the Arizona Cardinals in the desert.
On Tuesday night, we got another look inside the building, as the Oakland Raiders had their second episode of HBO Hard Knocks. For the Raiders, there has been a bunch of drama surrounding this team this summer, but that has mostly circled around star wide receiver Antonio Brown, who is finally back with the team.
After getting frostbite on his feet, and filing a grievance against the NFL to use his old helmet, AB finally appears to be ready to contribute on the field. He is going to be fine, as he is one of the better wide receivers in football, but it will be nice to see him practicing, and getting his reps in with starting quarterback Derek Carr.
Overall, it has been a pretty successful summer so far, as the Raiders have proven to be a much more talented team than last year. It is year No. 2 for Carr and head coach Jon Gruden, and you have to believe things are only going to get better after a four-win season in year one.
Here is our preview and prediction for preseason game No. 2 against the Cardinals.
