Oakland Raiders: Week 1 53-man roster projection v.3
By Sanjit T.
The Oakland Raiders Week 2 preseason ended with some great plays, so we need to update there 53-man projection for Week 1 of the regular season.
The Oakland Raiders have now played two games in the 2019 preseason, and with the second half of training camp currently underway, there has not been a more critical time for the young kids trying to make the roster.
Although we’ve seen some really impressive players, with the depth this 2019 team has, many players will end up getting cut or being moved to the practice squad. Luckily for the Raiders franchise, they have not had this kind of issue in a while, and that could lead to this team being a surprise contender in the AFC West in 2019.
Though it is only the preseason, you cannot help but see the difference when it comes to speed, and talent on this roster. Head coach Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock have a lot of work to do in terms of cutting this roster down for Week 1, and we do our best to put ourselves in their shoes here.
Today we take a look at our latest 53-man roster projection.
