The Oakland Raiders added a ton of talent this offseason, and here are three position groups with the most depth heading into 2019.

The 2018 Oakland Raiders lacked depth at almost every position, but the 2019 Raiders have too much depth, if that’s a thing. It is clear that general manager Mike Mayock and head coach Jon Gruden had a good plan in place to revamp this roster, and they have responded in a big way this summer.

Through the first two preseason games, the Raiders have looked a lot faster on both sides of the ball, and that is thanks to a ton of new additions to the roster. After holding the Los Angeles Rams to only three points in the preseason opener, they bashed the Arizona Cardinals and No. 1 overall pick Kyler Murray, getting out to a 26-0 lead.

There is less than three weeks until the Raiders open up their 2019 regular season against the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football, and you have to like the way the roster is shaping up. The Raiders are getting good competition at nearly every position group, which should make cuts very hard this summer.

Today, we look over three positions groups that have the most depth on the Raiders roster and discuss which players are safe, and which ones are not.
