The Oakland Raiders Preseason record doesn’t count for anything, however, the team’s success comes with some impressive individual performances.

The Oakland Raiders have gotten out to a fast start to their preseason schedule, winning their first two games, and doing so pretty impressively. After holding the Los Angeles Rams to only three points in the preseason opener, they went on the road to take on the Arizona Cardinals, and jumped out to a 26-0 lead before calling off the dogs.

Since the games do not count and the starters do not play very much, the preseason is often considered more of a practice than a game. However, for some players, these games might be the most important of their lives.

The preseason is important for two kinds of players: young players who are trying to establish themselves, and veterans attempting to keep their careers alive. Oakland has a handful of players in both categories and performing this time of year is imperative for them.

The team has been successful in the preseason so far and that is a result of a few standout players.
