Keelan Doss

Coming from a small Division One FCS school, and being an undrafted free agent, it’s imperative that Keelan Doss has a good preseason. With any small school product, more doubt surrounds whether or not Doss’ college success will translate to the next level. The preseason is a chance for the UC Davis product to shake the small school narrative and he has done just that.

In four years at Davis, Doss put up some impressive statistics, 321 receptions, 4,069 yards and 28 touchdowns. That kind of production is part of the reason the Raiders took a flier on the former Aggie and he is making the most out of his opportunity.

Doss has been targeted eight times with seven receptions, four of which have gone for first downs and another for a touchdown.

The Alameda native is making a name for himself and pushing to make the team. Doss is doing his job by forcing the coaching staff to make tough roster decisions, and hopefully those decisions are in the wide receiver’s favor.
