Looking Ahead

The Raiders struggled early, but found a way to win late in the game against the Packers. As the final week of preseason approaches, the Raiders will try to decide who will be making the roster, and who will not.

The team travels to Seattle to take on the Seahawks on Thursday, but do not expect to see many, if any at all, starters on the field for either team. Both teams will be playing their young players who are trying to make the team, and will be watching closely to any position battles left to solve.

Players such as Keelan Doss, Rico Gafford, Keon Hatcher, Anthony Rush, and Keisean Nixon have been playing extremely well as of late, and should get a lot of playing time in this final game to try and prove to Gruden and the rest of the staff why they should be a Raider.

The Seahawks are 1-1 in the preseason as of now, and play the Chargers on Saturday. The way that game goes, and which players stick out, could determine who the Raiders line up against come Thursday.

We are inching ever so close to the team’s Week 1 matchup against the Denver Broncos at home, and there is no chance any of the Raiders starters play against the Seahawks in preseason game No. 4. This has been a pretty solid summer for the Silver and Black, and they should be much better than advertised in 2019.
