Green Bay Packers at Oakland Raiders: 3 players to watch
The Oakland Raiders look for continued success as they’ll head to Winnipeg, Canada for their third preseason game on Thursday. Here are three key players to keep an eye on against the Green Bay Packers.
Over the last two weeks of preseason action, the Raiders coaching staff have been making internal notes as week 1 of the regular season gets closer. Jon Gruden and company are evaluating every player, and every snap that takes place throughout training camp and the preseason in order to get their 90-man roster down to a productive 53.
The starters have already played one series in game No.2 against the Cardinals, where they looked fresh and rejuvenated for the regular season. Gruden has recently stated that he doesn’t quite have all his starters penciled in, but he also mentions that he doesn’t believe he’ll play most, if any of his starters in preseason game No.3.
Oakland’s roster as a whole has looked prepared and ready to compete, correlating their record to 2-0. Now, heading north of the boarder, they’ll look for win No.3 of the preseason.
