Prediction
The Packers are still figuring it out with their new head coach, though they did enough this offseason on defense to be a well-balanced team in 2019. Rodgers is going to be one of the best quarterbacks in the league once again, but for the Raiders, they will get a steady dose of DeShone Kizer, and Tim Boyle under center for the Packers in this one.
I look for Glennon and Peterman to continue to do a nice job moving this offense, and head coach Jon Gruden has shown faith in both of Derek Carr’s backups this summer. There are a bunch of Raiders skill guys who are looking to make this team, especially at wide receiver, so expect Gruden to dial it up for his backups tonight.
Any preseason game is hard to predict, but with both of these teams likely sitting a bunch of starters, which is rare in preseason game No. 3, it is anybody’s guess as to who wins. The Raiders look like a team that has good depth, which should play to their advantage, and they just may escape the Great North with another notch in the win column.
