Stock up: Keisean Nixon

Keisean Nixon has had a solid preseason overall, fighting for a spot on the Raiders roster as a cornerback. Nixon had his best showing Thursday against the Packers, defending five passes in one on one situations, and proving to be the best cornerback on the field.

The Packers tried to pick on Nixon early, but Nixon was not allowing it. Nixon’s stock rose more than any player on the team this game, as he saved the defense from giving up long touchdown passes on multiple occasions.

Nixon is making a strong case to make the roster, and at this point, how can you deny him the spot? Nixon led the team in tackles the game before, and was the clear star of the defense against Green Bay.

The Raiders do not have the best group of cornerbacks on the roster, so seeing such great 1-on-1 coverage from Nixon is something that can get a Raiders fan excited.
