Stock down: Nick Nelson

Not only did Keisean Nixon give himself the chance to take a spot on the roster at cornerback, Nick Nelson seems to have blew his chance. While Nixon was on one side of the field breaking up passes and denying the Packers of long plays, Nelson was doing the opposite.

Within the first half, Nelson gave up two touchdown passes, clearly getting beat on both plays. Outside of those touchdowns, Nelson gave up other big plays where he was close in coverage, but just could not find a way to come up with a play on the ball.

The Packers started to pick on Nelson through the game, where you could see the frustration from Nelson getting the best of him. Nelson may have had the edge on Nixon going into the Packers game, but after that performance his stock has fallen a significant amount.
