The Oakland Raiders will finish off the preseason in Seattle on Thursday night. For players on the roster bubble, this game is their last chance to make the team.

While the end of the preseason means the regular season is on the horizon, it also means one of the most dreaded days for coaches and some players is near, and for the Oakland Raiders, they are no different. Two days after the game against the Seattle Seahawks, the Raiders coaching staff will have to trim the roster down from 90 players to 53.

The harsh reality for the 47 players who don’t make the team, is they may never put pads on again.

For players on the fringe of the roster, it’s imperative that they have a good showing during the team’s final preseason game. The game is the last opportunity for these players to show the coaching staff what they’ve got.

A poor performance could be the difference between making a dream become reality or nightmare, and not the kind of nightmare Jon Gruden was talking about during Hard Knocks.

Here are five players on the bubble entering the Seahawks game.
