The Obvious: Antonio Brown, Tyrell Williams, Hunter Renfrow

With all of the battles going on within the position, there are a few players who have their roster spots locked.

Even with all of the drama surrounding him, Antonio Brown is still arguably the best receiver in the league, and his helmet will not prevent him from continuing that trend in 2019. With a lot of 1-on-1 work with Derek Carr this off season, AB may not be as behind within the system as many believe.

Obviously Antonio Brown will make the roster, as he is the WR1 of the Oakland Raiders this year, and hopefully for years to come.

The Raiders brought in former Chargers receiver Tyrell Williams to be the WR2 of the team, and him and Carr have already built a strong chemistry. The tall receiver will be a great weapon in the passing game for the Raiders, as he can run a ton of routes, including being a great target for Carr throwing the deep ball.

The Raiders drafted Clemson product Hunter Renfrow this year, and we have heard nothing but good things about him coming out of camp. Renfrow has not been on the field a ton this preseason as Gruden is saving him, but you can guarantee that he will be on the field often once the regular season starts.

Renfrow will lineup in the slot more often than not, using his speed and quick cuts to find open field for Derek Carr to hit him in. With these three receivers being locks, let’s take a look at some other receivers fighting for roster spots.
