Josh Jacobs

Jacobs hasn’t played much in the preseason, but when he has, he’s looked very impressive. His only look at live action comes from a one-series drive against the Arizona Cardinals where he couldn’t be stopped. Jacobs is Gruden’s new bell-cow back, so his play for the remainder of the preseason might be short lived, if any at all.

Gruden has expressed this season that he’s not to fond of his key players playing in meaningless preseason games.

Not only has Jacobs flourished in preseason play, but he’s thrived throughout training camp practices. The coaching staff has praised the former Alabama running back for how quickly he’s picked up the offense and how the game is slowing down for him just over his first couple months.
