The Oakland Raiders finished off their preseason slate on Thursday night, and will now have to get their Week 1 roster shaved to 53 players by Saturday afternoon.

The Oakland Raiders finished their preseason with a 3-1 record, showing promise out of many young players, including multiple undrafted free agents. The last few weeks have been filled with position battles, great stories, and a lot of helmet talk.

With just one week until the regular season starts, the Raiders will have to make their final cuts this weekend, meaning almost 40 players will be released from the Raiders by Saturday.

The Raiders have had their starting lineup set for the most part for a while now, but the depth of the team can be just as important as the starters on the team. The Raiders staff will struggle to decide who to keep and who to let go, but that is a good problem for a team to have.

The Raiders have more talent and depth on their roster than they have had for a long time, so it will be interested to see who will remain on that roster heading into week one. Let’s take a look at one last 53 man roster projection.
