Safety (4): Johnathan Abram, Karl Joseph, Lamarcus Joyner, Erik Harris

Although Lamarcus Joyner will play slot corner this season, he is listed as a safety alongside Johnatan Abram, Karl Joseph, and Erik Harris. One thing is for sure, Joyner came in this summer and proved he can be a very versatile defensive back, and that will bode well on a Raiders team that needs to be better in the secondary.

Johnathan Abram is more than just a Hard Knocks star; he is a certified killer. Abram will become a fan favorite for Raiders fans on and off the field, and won’t be afraid to put a hit on anyone in the league. The fact that the Raiders gave him the coveted No. 24 is a sure sign that they expect him to be a star in the Silver and Black.

Karl Joseph is on the last year of his contract, meaning his career could be on the line. Joseph performed well last season, and with him and Abram on the field at the same time, receivers should be scared of the hit they may receive whenever they are running down field. Erik Harris is always going to give you his all.
