Most Valuable Player: Keelan Doss, WR
Keelan Doss was a diamond in the rough as an UDFA, coming out of a D2 school, and putting on the best performances on the team. Before the preseason, most people had no idea who Keelan Doss was, but now he is a fan favorite among Raiders fans.
In his for games, Doss recorded 17 receptions for 162 yards and a touchdown. The most impressive thing about Doss wasn’t how many catches he had, but the way he made the catches.
In week 3 against the Packers, Doss showed off his ability to track the ball down, making a sideline reception that some of the top receivers in the league would struggle with. Many have stated that if Doss was a D1 receiver, he would have been drafted in the first couple of rounds.
Even in what many regard as his worst game of the preseason in week 4, Doss recorded 6 receptions for 63 yards in a 17-15 loss to Seattle. Doss created a strong connection with Nathan Peterman, and assuming he makes the roster, he shouldn’t have trouble creating that same connection with Carr.
