The Oakland Raiders wrapped up a pretty successful preseason on Thursday night, and here are is our team grade and superlatives.

The Oakland Raiders had a solid preseason, finishing with a 3-1 record, showing off plenty of undrafted free agents, and showing improvement across the board. The Raiders have more depth than they have had in years, and the position battles have been nothing less than entertaining.

The highlight of the team were the young receiving group, the rebuilt defensive line, and the surprisingly great play of Nathan Peterman. Later today, we will see what the 53-man roster for Week 1 of the 2019 NFL season will look like, as it is officially cut day across the NFL.

One thing is for sure, this Raiders team is going to be a lot better than the product that was put on the field in 2018. That Raiders team won only four games, and based on the talent the Raiders brought in on both sides of the ball, doubling that win total is not out of the question.

Let’s take a look at the highlights, best stories, and most surprising players of the 2019 preseason.
