Anthony Rush

The UDFA out of Alabama-Birmingham was one of the highlights of the preseason, as it looked like the Raiders found a great player after the draft.

The Raiders had the worst defensive line in the NFL last season, and Rush would have been a great young player to help build the Raiders defense back up. The team has a good group of young players on the line, but they also have a few veterans who are on the downside of their career.

Many believed that Rush would make the team instead of Justin Ellis, who has been a bit unreliable at times, but the team decided to get rid of Rush instead. Ellis has now been listed on the IR, and will be out for the season, which makes this an even more questionable move.
